Artist's Comments

I don't actually speak any Russian, but it looks good to me, so hopefully the online translator didn't make this say something stupid. As far as I know, it says
"Nihilism"
"Nothing is greater than Nothing"
That doesn't really mean much, it's just something to add to the picture.
Thanks to artmunki for the background texture.

Why is the text in Russian?
As I am russian, I can say that the phrase is correct. It looks really expressive ;)

haha, sweet, thank you. I wish i could speak/read/write russian, it's my favorite language.
because I think the Cyrillic alphabet is better looking than English, and the words aren't really supposed to be part of the meaning, just the aesthetics.
I think I can agree with you then that the Cyrillic alphabet is better looking than English.
Why are you interested in it? )

No idea. I really like the style of the old Soviet propaganda, and I guess I was never really exposed to Russian, so it's interesting. I had to take Spanish through high-school because nothing else was offered, so I have never learned a new alphabet.
Well, if someday you might have an opportunity to learn Russian, do not miss that chance, though our language is indeed very complicated.

I won't. I hear it's easier than Chinese, at least.
