So this week I had an Art History test on Monday morning (why do I need to know the exact date when a painting was finished?) a Vector critique on Wednesday (which was brutal for everybody since the teacher screwed us all) a Raster critique today (which I barely had my piece mounted in time for) and I have a Page Layout critique tomorrow. (why have critique when the project is over? why not when it would help improve our piece?)

So I'm going to RMCAD. I am taking Art History 1 (worthless) Philosophy of Art and Design (AKA reading and writing, therefore worthless) Digital Image Making (I already know enough to teach the class) and Visual Design 1 (AKA Naming factors I already intuitively take into account when making something). Hopefully I will make something worth putting up here. In DIM my first project is to make some apples look happy sad and angry in PS. I am required to paint scenery in PS, which blows. The reason I like working digitally is so that I don't have to paint and keep things clean. I have been drawing a lot during class (not for class) so hopefully I can scan some things and put them up.

Presumably I will be attending the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design starting Tuesday. Hopefully that means I will be making all kinds of cool shit to put on here. Unfortunately it also means I will be spending a lot of time making art I don't want to make, which may kill my motivation to make the art I want to make. We'll see.
